If issue is in only Outlook for mac, we would like to suggest you to use Outlook Reset Preferences tool to resets all Outlook preferences to their default settings. This tool helps to reset any customizations that you've made to Outlook by using the Preferences option on the Outlook menu. This tool also stores the settings for the Outlook. Go to the folder /Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile/Data (in Finder you can press cmd + shift + G.If you then press the Delete key on your keyboard or click the Delete icon on Outlook’s toolbar, you’ll get a warning…On your Mac, click the Trash icon in the Dock.Just open the program, choose Mail> Preferences from the menus at the top, and then click the “Accounts” tab. In the warning message that appears, click Delete. Empty all of the Trash: Click the Empty button in the upper-right corner of the Finder window.Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS (with small adjustments). Clean up folder will delete and move duplicate emails in the specific folder to the Deleted Items.…but if you choose to move forward, the folder will be cleared out. Note that you’ll get this warning if you remove items from Junk or Trash but not your other folders this is because deleting messages from those locations permanently removes them, so you won’t be able to recover anything. Be aware of that! Command ClickAnyway, another thing you could do is hold down Command and click to select multiple emails within your chosen folder. Delete All Deletes everything in the folder, including any sub-folders. Delete will move the folder to the Deleted Items folder. Delete Delete the entire folder. Right-click the folder you want to move and click Move Folder. Click the folder you want to move and drag it to where you want it. Type the name you want to use for this folder and press Enter key. You can either let messages stay there, or you can set Outlook to automatically empty your Deleted Items folder when you sign out. Or, you can create sub-folders within any existing email folder. The folders you create can be at the same level as your default folders, for example, the Inbox or Sent Items folders.
